“The Man with the Iron Fists 2: Sting of the Scorpion” merupakan sekuel dari “The Man with the Iron Fists,” yang sebelumnya dirilis pada 2012. Sang pembuat film pertama, RZA akan kembali ke sekuel. Akan tetapi dia tidak mengarahkan, RZA kembali dengan perannnya sebagai seorang pandai besi atau The Man with the Iron Fists. Dia juga ikut menulis skenario film bersama John Jarrell (“Romeo Must Die“). Posisi RZA diganti oleh Roel Reine, yang sebelumnya mengarahkan “The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption” dan “Death Race 2.”

Cerita film ini mengikuti The Man with the Iron Fists (RZA) dan kelompok orang asing yang mencoba untuk membebaskan sebuah desa di Cina dari seorang penguasa kejam.
